AFL All Girls League - About Us

AFL All Girls League was founded with the vision to bring a high-quality, family-friendly, fun flag football experience specifically for girls in the cities of Yorba Linda, Placentia, Anaheim, Brea, and surrounding areas.

Our league provides a unique opportunity for girls in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, what we call our "middle school" division, to participate in the most exciting sport in America—Flag Football. We are dedicated to offering a safe, non-contact, and supportive environment where girls can develop their skills, make new friends, and enjoy the game.



Season Information:

Spring 2025 Season: Registration starts NOW, with practices and games beginning in March through May.
Games for the all-girls league will be held on Friday nights, utilizing dedicated fields to ensure a focused and inclusive environment for all participants.

League Format:

6v6 Passing League: Non-contact format ensuring safety and fun.
Team Composition: Ideally no more than 8 players per team.
Schedule: There are 9 scheduled games in the regular season, with 2 more during championship night for the top 4 teams

We want to emphasize that our normal league will remain co-ed, providing an inclusive environment for both boys and girls. The AFL All Girls League is an additional opportunity for girls to compete against girls only, enhancing their experience and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
